خالد سلێمان‌ 8/6/2012 ته‌مه‌نی 17 ساڵ بوو، له‌ شاری وان ئۆتۆمبێلی ده‌شۆرد و خه‌رجیی ڕۆژانه‌ی خۆی ده‌رده‌كرد. نه‌یده‌زانی كورده‌و تاكه‌ شتێك له‌سه‌ر كوردێتی خۆی بیری بكه‌وێته‌وه‌ ئه‌وه‌یه‌ كه‌ باپیره‌ی نه‌یده‌زانی به‌ توركی قسه‌بكات و ئه‌مه‌شی وه‌ك خه‌ونێك بیر ده‌كه‌وێته‌وه‌.   نه‌جمه‌دین سالاس كه‌ وه‌ك به‌شێكی ژماره‌یه‌كی ئه‌و ده‌مه‌ی گه‌نجانی باكوری كوردستان، به‌لای چه‌پ و بزوتنه‌وه‌ی چه‌پدا ده‌شكایه‌وه‌، ڕۆژانه‌ دوای هاتنه‌وه‌ له‌قوتابخانه‌ی دواناوه‌ندی ده‌چووه‌ گه‌راجی ته‌كسییه‌كانی شارو سه‌یاره‌ی ده‌شۆرد.

In the late 1980s, however, Saddam Hussein resurrected the term to label his genocidal campaign against rural Kurdistan. Quoi de mieux qu’un kurde irakien pour nous en parler. Rencontré à Montréal, Khaled Sulayman, 35 ans, journaliste -écrivain et poète aussi-, a eu l’amabilité de répondre à mes quelques questions. C’est quoi exactement Al –Anfal ? C’était une opération militaire, politique, nationaliste, idéologique de l’œuvre de Saddam au printemps de 1988 contre les populations kurdes d’Irak. Tous les moyens de répression imaginables et d’extermination massive y étaient utilisés : armes chimiques, avions, chars…pour arracher, au propre et au figuré, les Kurdes à leurs maisons, à leur terre et les massacrer collectivement, dans des conditions non encore élucidées, dans le désert irakien.
